The Wild Iowa Camp is a chance for 8 to 12-year-olds to spend a week venturing outdoors to look for and learn about the amazing critters that call Iowa home.
Campers will explore prairies and forests, wade in streams and marshes, and spend an evening trying to catch endangered bats. Get to know Iowa’s rare and endangered species and the wild places all around us.
The camp will run daily from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. July 15-19. There will be an optional family outing Friday evening July 19 to experience bat netting.
Transportation to and from Des Moines will be available for a $25 for the week.
Cost: $180.00 per person
