Journey Scholarship Fund
Because of the generous and giving spirit of our donors, this year 641 students received a Journey Scholarship.
Annual scholarship support is a top priority for the college. Gifts of all sizes help students on their mind-opening journeys at Central. Each year, the college wishes to raise enough scholarship funds from donors for every student to have at least one funded scholarship. With the college’s new tuition price, this goal is more important than ever.
Supporting annual scholarships means having an immediate impact. Funds are awarded directly to students each year – an investment that lowers costs for families. Journey Fund Scholarships are crucial in both attracting strong students and providing funded financial aid for students with need, which keeps Central in a position of financial strength.
We are so grateful for our donors and it warms our hearts when scholarship donors are able to connect with the incredible students receiving their support. The Central family is committed to opening doors of opportunity by making education affordable to all who qualify.

Gifts to the Journey Scholarship Fund allow more Central students to achieve first-class opportunities, conduct research, find real-life mentors, explore the world, discover their passions and become part of a winning team.
At most colleges, the annual fund supports things like light bulbs and other supplies – at Central your gift to the Journey Scholarship Fund goes directly to support students. That means 100% of your gift makes a very real difference in the lives of students.
A gift of $1,000 or more fully funds one Journey Scholarship. Donors at this level have the opportunity to meet the student who received their Journey Scholarship at our annual Scholarship Dinner.
Join other Central family members to help students discover and develop their greatest potential. Gifts made by June 30, 2020, will be applied to Central College’s FY 2019-20.
