Why did you choose Central College?: One of the main reasons that I chose Central is because of the education program. With the education program here, we are able to get into the classroom right away. Also, when I visited Central, it felt like home. I fell in love with the atmosphere of the college.

What do you think makes Central unique?: One of the biggest things that makes Central unique is the sincerity of the professors. They truly care about each one of their students. There are also different clubs that are available at Central. You can make your education your own by partaking in different clubs.

What would you tell high school students about Central College? If you are looking for a welcoming environment, where the professors care about your education but also your life outside school, then Central College is the place for you!

What is your favorite class at Central and why?: My favorite class is Children with Exceptionalities because it opened my eyes to the different experiences and hardships that children with disabilities go through. The professor made it such a personal experience.

Who is your favorite professor at Central and why?: Honestly, I enjoy all of my professors, but Jen Diers and Mary Stark are definitely two of my favorites. They are so personable and good at their jobs, but more importantly, they connect with each and every student and truly care about the well-being of each student.

What do your love about your major(s)?:  The biggest thing is that I love working with kids and being able to make lesson plans. Also, things are different each and every day and that is something I really love about being an education major.

Can you describe Central in one word: Fertilizer. College is a growing experience and Central has fed the growth and been able to plant many opportunities and experiences that have helped me grow into the person that I am.
