PELLA— Central College senior Seth Harris (Waverly, Neb.) received all-Iowa Conference men’s tennis honors Tuesday. He was recognized in singles.

Harris compiled a 14-8 record at Central’s No. 1 singles spot, finishing 6-2 against conference opponents. He was cited as the league’s tennis player of the week in April after he defeated Nick Garcia of Dubuque, handing Garcia his first loss in 15 spring matches.

Harris also competed at No. 1 doubles, teaming with Zane Hendricks (sophomore, Fort Dodge) to post a 9-8 mark this spring.

The conference named 12 individuals to fill 12 singles and six doubles positions. It’s the first time Harris has received league distinction.

Harris closes his Central career with 57 singles victories and 59 doubles wins. Both totals rank third on their respective career wins leaderboards.
