Hometown: Davenport, Iowa

High School: West

Why Central?
I wanted a small town environment where I could be comfortable and be who I truly am. I knew that the Education and Exercise Science departments were very infamous and prestigious. Plus this is one of few schools I could play both soccer and basketball.

Favorite professor and why
Hands down Coach Johnson. He makes class very interesting and is willing to give all of his knowledge to those who ask. I mean lets be real we all know he is a real softy when you get to know him.

Dream job
I aspire to be a high school physical education teacher in small town Iowa, where I run my own strength and conditioning program and coach women’s soccer and basketball.

Favorite Central memory
There isn’t really one favorite memory. I would have to say though all the relationships I have built here and the knowledge I have gained through the opportunities that I wouldn’t have had anywhere else.

Coolest thing about being a goalkeeper
I get to flop (we all know how coordinated I am) around in the mud and get down and dirty, because I can.

Why you love Central soccer
We are a family. We work, play, eat, talk, hangout, go out, and are not afraid to do anything together. We have a bond with each other that will last longer than the four years we will be here.

Person past or present you’d like to have lunch with
I would like to have lunch with Abraham Lincoln. He was a great leader and stood up for what he believes in. He had courage that some of us can only dream about.

One of the coolest places you’ve visited
Moab, Utah, I went there on a mission trip over spring break and was just mind blown by how beautiful it was. It was so free and open I didn’t have to worry about any traffic jams, tall buildings, or extremely annoying people.

Central soccer match you’ll never forget
This year when we played Simpson we beat them 1-0. It was the first time in like 11 years and it was great because we have so much talent and potential this year and we finally showed it.

Word or phrase Coach Kobylinski uses too much
Cheers. I have a text that has “word” “fyizzle” and “booyah” all in the same sentence.

What separates the Central soccer program from other programs?
Well since we are a family we work the hardest for each other and we set high standards. Plus, we go hard for all 90 minutes and we all know how to play in multiple positions.
