Scholarships

Modern Language Scholarships:

First-year students who plan to major in French, German or Spanish are eligible to compete for modern language scholarships at Central College. Competition for these scholarships takes place during the spring Distinguished and Outstanding Scholar Days. Students wishing to compete for these scholarships take a computerized language placement exam and those who test into the intermediate level or higher proceed to interview with department faculty. Students who receive language scholarships must enroll in a language course during their first semester at Central and continue to make satisfactory progress toward the language major.

For more information about scholarship opportunities at Central, see the Financial Aid web page or call 641-628-5336.
