Language Assistants
| Every year Central College brings native speakers of French, German and Spanish to campus to enrich the cultural environment for all students and provide opportunities for growth in cross-cultural understanding. The language assistants live the language houses of the Wing International center, conduct conversation labs for students in language, literature and culture classes in the department, and plan activities for many of the special events that take place each year. They also take classes of their own here at Central. For the 2006-2007 academic year, there are two French assistants, two German assistants from Austria, and five Spanish assistants (two from Spain, two from Mexico and one from Venezuela). |
