German House

Willkommen im deutschen Haus

The students who live in the German House get to live and interact with our native speaker language assistants

on a daily basis, giving them a chance to practice the language and get to know German-speaking cultures.

This year we have one assistant from Germany and one from Austria. Students in the house speak

German together, plan cultural activities, movie night, parties and much more.

Annual German House Dinner

March 3, 2003

The theme for the 2003 German House Dinner was Carnival. German House residents and German professors  really got into the spirit with costumes, balloons and decorations, and, of course, polka music. Initiation Ceremonies for the Foreign Language Honorary Phi Sigma Iota were also held at the German Dinner this year.
