Title of Position: Coordinator of Reformed Church in America Relations
Central College invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Reformed Church in America Relations. This position is directly responsible to the Director of Development and the Dean of Admission for recruitment of students affiliated with the Reformed Church in America and fund-raising from Reformed Church in America congregations through strengthened relationships with individual churches and classes.
The Coordinator of Reformed Church in America Relations (RCA) cultivates productive relationships with RCA constituencies involving personal travel and face-to-face meetings with pastors, youth leaders, classis leaders, congregations, alumni and students throughout the United States . A recruitment plan will be developed and implemented to achieve the goal for RCA students attending Central College . The Coordinator will execute a plan to reach the fund-raising goal for church gifts for the annual fund. The successful candidate for this position will also coordinate web presence, the RCA Classis Scholarship program, represent Central College at RCA events and coordinate RCA general synod meetings when on Central's campus.
Qualifications include a b achelor's degree, extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills, an eagerness to work intelligently, efficiently, and persuasively to meet enrollment and fund-raising objectives; demonstrated success in team building; the capacity to interact effectively with the broad range of constituencies served by the college, and willingness to support the mission of Central College as a liberal arts college in the Christian tradition; the ability to travel (ground and air) and furnish own transportation. Candidates with one to two years of related experience and working knowledge and appreciation for the Reformed Church in America will be given preference.
