Title of Position: Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach/Assistant Men's and Women's Track Coach (70%) and Exercise Science Instructor (30%)

Central College invites applications for the position of Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach/Assistant Men's and Women's Track Coach (70%) and Exercise Science Instructor (30%). This position is directly responsible to the Director of Athletics and Exercise Science Department Chair for the overall management and leadership of the men's and women's intercollegiate cross country program and to provide quality instruction to the Exercise Science Department.

The successful individual will develop and maintain a highly competitive men's and women's cross country program, within rules and regulations of the institution, the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and NCAA Division III. The individual in this position will also work cooperatively with exercise science staff members in the development and implementation of course work in the curriculum.

Qualifications include a master's degree or equivalent in Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field. Two to three years of college coaching experience preferred. Coaching certification and/or authorization is desired.
