Title of Position: Coordinator of Outreach - Central College Abroad

Central College Abroad invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Outreach. The Coordinator of Outreach disseminates information about Central College Abroad programs through a variety of channels and to a variety of constituents. This position is responsible for promoting study abroad to the campus community through special events and activities. This position is also responsible for working with prospective students from Central College as well as students from other colleges and universities. The successful candidate will possess the ability to initiate and maintain communications with cooperating institutions within an assigned territory through campus visits, study abroad fairs, phone calls, mail and email.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, an eagerness to work intelligently, efficiently, and persuasively to meet enrollment objectives, ability to manage multiple projects, and a disposition to customer service. Candidates with 2-3 years related experience, foreign language proficiency, and study abroad experience will be given preference. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively (ground and air). There will also be some international travel. This position offers the creative and dynamic individual an opportunity to advance Central's well-established international education identity.
