POSITION: Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of Chemistry
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: One-year sabbatical replacement for the 2008-09 academic year, beginning in August.
QUALIFICATIONS: ABD or PhD in analytical chemistry (MS + may apply).
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching includes analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, and inorganic chemistry; each class includes labs.
DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY: The ACS accredited department is housed in a new natural science facility that is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified. On-site instrumentation includes: Brücker 300MHz NMR (4 years old), GC-MS, FT-IR, GC, HPLC, Fluorimeter and UV-Vis.
