You can submit the FAFSA anytime after Jan. 1. Go to pin.ed.gov to get your pin number to submit the FAFSA on-line. Central's FAFSA code is 001850.
January 15
Scholarship deadline!! To be eligible to compete in the Presidential Scholars Day, Dean’s Scholars Day, and/or the Preministerial Award you must be admitted to Central by this date (application, transcripts, and test scores must be in our office by 5:00 p.m.).
February 2 and 9
Dean’s Scholars Day
February 2, 9, and 16
Audition/interview dates for Central Awards in Music, Theatre, Communication Studies, and Modern Languages. You may also schedule an individual appointment. All audition/interviews must be completed by February 22, 2008.
February 16 and 23
Presidential Scholars Day
March 15
Priority deadline for Financial Aid. As soon as taxes are complete, get your financial aid forms filled out and sent in. Return the FAFSA by March 15 for priority consideration. Aid is offered on a funds-available basis thereafter. FAFSA forms are available in your high school guidance office or you can complete it online at the FAFSA Web site.
March-April
Initial financial aid packages will be awarded.
On or before May 1
Candidates' reply date for admission. Notify Central of your decision to attend by submitting a $200 nonrefundable enrollment deposit along with a signed copy of your financial aid award.
July 1
Iowa students! The FAFSA must be received at the processor by this date in order to be considered for the Iowa Tuition Grant.
