The Café @ Geisler Library
Stop into our coffee shop near the entrance of the campus library, offering various coffee drinks, cold beverages, scones, bagels, muffins, pre-made sandwiches and ice cream. It is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, closed on Saturday and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Largely operated by Central College students, The Café offers Internet access and also has a patio that is open for use when weather permits. One may purchase items with cash, check or a Central College student ID to charge to a personal account.

In the summer, The Café is open from 8 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday.

The Central Market
The Central Market is the main dining facility for the Central College community. It was completed in May of 1997. It serves the college customers in the marché or market setting where there are twelve different stations. When comparing to the more traditional cafeteria there is really no reason to wait in line. It may be more convenient for customers to move on to a less crowded area and return when the crowd has dissipated.

Dining at The Central Market is meant to be a dining experience from beginning to end. From being greeted by the professional greeter/cashier to progressing through the experience. Mood music is played at different times of the day. In the morning classical or popular instrumental music is played. At lunch, more light & lively music such as jazz might be played. Dinner is the time when students like to have the more popular music, featuring artists of today.
