Terri Snyders Crumley '89
Terri has long ties to Central College. She graduated from Central in 1989 with a major in business management. Her sister Cathy Snyders Gray ’88, brother-in-law Dave Gray ’87 and brother Bill Snyders ’95 also attended Central. She has worked in the Central College admission office for 11 years, serving as director of admission since 2004 and interim director of financial aid in 2010. Dr. Crumley also teaches voice in the music department.
Upon graduation from Central, Terri worked briefly for the Juilliard School in New York City and then began graduate work at the University of Iowa. She earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in vocal performance from the UI and spent 10 years there in research administration, arts outreach and teaching. She and her family — kids Ian (10) and Ella (8) and husband Tim — enjoy cheering on the Dutch at many athletic and fine arts events.
Central College truly lives its powerful and humbling mission of helping “students discover and develop their greatest potential.” This is an extremely caring, vibrant and engaged learning community. It’s an honor to work with our students, faculty, coaches, staff, alumni and friends of the college. Together, we can do amazing things!
