Journey Scholarship Fund
A shared journey of education
The Journey Scholarship Fund provides alumni and friends a way to assist students in realizing their goals of a Central College education, bringing students, alumni and friends together into a shared journey of education
Our goal is to reach $1.4 million in scholarship funds by June 30, 2013, to support first-year and returning students. Meet some of our students!
Create Access:
- 98% of Central students receive some type of financial assistance.
- 30% of all Central students receive the Pell Grant reserved for low income families; compared to 24% nationally.
- 31% of Central students are first generation students (neither parent attended a 4 year college)
Today, even the smallest gift is a statement of support for the Central College mission: “to help students discover and reach their highest potential” on their own life journey, as generations of the Central family have done before them.
