Off Campus Internship Programs

Chicago Semester
This program, hosted by a consortium of private colleges, offers 14 Central students per year an opportunity to intern or student teach for a semester in Chicago.  Applications and further information is available from Pat Kitzman at the Career Center.  Applications are generally due Feb. 1 for next year’s admission.  The Off Campus Programs Committee, a faculty committee, reviews applications and makes selections.  Most often, CS interns are seniors.

The Washington Center
Central students can apply to intern in the nation’s capital for a semester or summer through a formal partnership with TWC.  Most generally, students need to be in their junior or senior year and have at least a 3.0 GPA.  In recent years, two students have been selected each year by the Off Campus Programs Committee.  Contact Pat Kitzman at the Career Center for application information and deadlines.

Internships Abroad
Many Central students complete internships while they're studying abroad. Opportunities vary by country and location. Contact Central Abroad to learn more.
