Career Direction
"What's your major?" It's probably the most common question college students hear. "And what will you do with it?" is the next most common question.
Clearly, "deciding on a major" and "finding career direction" are important tasks for students as they navigate through college. Keep in mind that these activities are really processes, not final destinations, especially regarding career development. Since most people change careers 7-10 times during their lives, it's more important to understand the process than to arrive at the outcome.
The following three questions and subsequent links will help guide you in making career decisions now and in the future. The staff at the Career Center is here to help throughout your journey.
