2008/2009 Central College Dance Team
Auditions
Auditions are open to incoming freshmen who have been accepted for the fall semester at Central and are scheduled for April 3-4, 2009. Learn the audition routine Friday evening and audition Saturday morning. Auditions will require an overnight stay if you do not live in the area.
Rehearsals
We rehearse Monday – Thursday, 4:15 – 6:15 p.m. in the fall semester. Team members come to Central one week prior to classes beginning in Aug. for a week long camp.

Football Season
Sept. 6 – Lakeland - Senior high dance clinic performs with Central dance team
Sept. 20 – Wartburg - Homecoming/Family Weekend
Oct. 11 – Dubuque
Nov. 1 – Loras
Nov. 15 – Simpson
Other Dance Team Activities/Dates
Sept. 5 - 7 p.m. Pep Rally at Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium.
Sept. 6 - Senior high clinic.
Dec. 5 - ISDTA competition at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.
Feb. 21 - Co-ed performance at the alumni basketball game.
Feb. 28 - Dance clinic for kindergartners through 8th grade.

Fundraisers take place but do not cover all of the expenses.
