Central shorthanded at Cornell tourney
MOUNT VERNON—A shorthanded Central College wrestling team came up empty at the two-day Cornell Matman Invitational.
Fielding just five wrestlers, the Dutch were scoreless in the 15-team tourney which was captured by Buena Vista with 140.5 points, five better than William Penn.
The Dutch hope to be closer to full strength next Saturday in the non-scored Central Invitational, which is again expected to attract a large field. Action begins at 9 a.m. at H.S. Kuyper Fieldhouse.
