Central climbs to No. 8 in poll

PELLA—Central College has moved up another spot in the D3football.com top 25 poll.

Central improved to 6-0 with a 56-24 victory at Simpson College Saturday. Mount Union (Ohio) remains at No. 1, although Wis.-Whitewater has narrowed the gap at No. 2. Both squads are 5-0.

Central is home Saturday for an Iowa Conference contest with Luther College. Game time is 1 p.m. at Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium.
