Central jumps to 10th in poll

PELLA—Central College jumped five spots to No. 10 in the D3football.com top 25.

The Dutch were 24-6 winners over previously unbeaten Coe College Saturday at Pella and improved to 4-0 overall with a 2-0 Iowa Conference record.

The top six in the ratings remain the same with Mount Union College (Ohio) still an overwhelming choice at No. 1. Wis.-Stevens Point, which fell to Central 22-21 Sept. 12, dropped out of the rankings after suffering a 23-7 defeat at NAIA Azusa Pacific in California Saturday evening.

Central takes on Cornell College next Saturday at Pella.
