Iowa Conference rival Wartburg College is No. 1, Luther College is No. 5 and Loras College is No. 10.
Central is off to a strong start. The Dutch took first place in the six-team Central Dutch Invitational Sept. 5. Last Saturday at the St. Olaf (Minn.) Invitational, first-year coach Joe Dunham’s squad was fourth in a 16-team field and second among NCAA Division III schools.
