PELLA—Central College outfielder Jarred Lackey (sophomore, Somerton, Ariz., Cibola HS) has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings all-Central Region team. Lackey was a third-team selection. He earlier was a second-team all-Iowa Conference choice.
The Central leader in runs batted in with 44, Lackey hit .350 in 37 games with 50 hits, a team-high 13 doubles, two triples and three home runs. He compiled a .957 fielding percentage.
The Dutch posted a 17-20 record.
