PELLA--Kevin Schalk has joined the Central College women's soccer staff as assistant coach.
Schalk is a veteran club and college soccer coach, serving the past three years as assistant men’s soccer coach at Wells College (N.Y.). He attended the College of Charleston (S.C.) and has coached at the club level for seven years, with extensive experience as a goalkeepers’ coach. Schalk will team with first-year Central women’s soccer coach Colin Kuchy in leading the Dutch, who open the 2008 campaign Aug. 30 at Milwaukee School of Engineering (Wis.).
