May 18, 2008Central sending 10 to NCAA meet
PELLA--Central College will send 10 athletes in six events to the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships at Oshkosh, Wis. Thursday through Saturday. The field was announced Sunday afternoon. The Dutch made the cut in five men's events. Guy Dierikx will compete in the 400 meters and on the 4x400-meter relay with Luke Bolander, Alex Miller and Matt Patrick. Freshman Kurtis Brondyke made the field in the long jump while Jason Fisher returns in the hammer throw and the discus. The Central women are in just one event as Kari Hutchinson, Emily Teas, Rachelle Tipton, and Jill Ziskovsky go in the 4x400-meter relay. STORY TO COME
