Dutch comeback bid, playoff run, end at goal
PELLA--Roaring back from a 35-14 deficit, Central College came within a deflected 2-point conversion pass of tying the game but instead suffered a 42-40 NCAA Division III playoff loss to Mary Hardin-Baylor (Texas) Saturday. The Dutch scored with just 28 seconds remaining but Nate Snead's pass on the conversion was tipped.
