Central College soccer field

Soccer field
With underground irrigation, the new Central soccer field has a high-quality playing surface, with a press box and team shelters. New soccer practice fields were developed in 2003 and the new game field debuted in September, 2005.

"I can't tell you how truly fortunate we are to have a field like this," men's coach Garry Laidlaw said. "It's as good as any Division III field in the country. It's immaculate. It's a nice even surface, it's cut short and it plays fairly quick. The players are very impressed."

"Central’s game and practice fields are two of the best I’ve ever seen," said women's coach Colin Kuchy. "And that’s after playing on fields in Illinois, Iowa and all over the South. They’re in the top five of fields I’ve played or coached on in my entire life."
