Why Central?
I knew that I wanted to play golf somewhere in college, but the golf program wasn’t my top priority for my decision. I just wanted to find the place where I felt the most comfortable with on my initial visit. Here at Central, all of the faculty and students that I met were amazing and it just felt right. And it didn’t hurt that Central had the one of the best programs in the Midwest.

Your favorite professor and why
I’m not sure that I have a favorite professor, but my favorite class was Sports Psychology with Coach Wares. He has such a unique way to look at things and I love how honest he is about all kinds of issues in the world of sports.  Plus, it’s hard not to listen to someone who has over 900 career wins. I strongly suggest that every Central athlete should take his class if possible.

Favorite Central memory
The spring break trip to Phoenix my sophomore year was a blast. It was my first time there, and I fell in love with the Place. Coach Clint Brown was the interim head coach that spring, and with the group of guys we had that year, it was one of the greatest weeks of my life.

You’re majoring in business management because…
I plan on entering the golf industry after graduation, so studying business is the best route for me to take. Plus, if the golf thing doesn’t work out I can do a lot of different things with a business degree.

Person past or present you’d like to have lunch with
It’s a split between my favorite golfer Bubba Watson, and Mila Kunis.

Why you love golf
I ask myself this question every day because golf is expensive to play and it’s the most frustrating game there is. However it’s also the most rewarding thing that I have been a part of. The relationships I’ve made and the experiences I have had are things that I will always cherish.

What you’re most excited about this season
I’m excited to see our hard work in the off-season pay some dividends for us on the course. I can’t wait to defend our conference title at our home course and to make a strong showing at the NCAA Championships in Orlando.

Place you would most like to visit
Pebble Beach

Your favorite TV show
Family Guy...  Giggity-giggity-GOO!!

“I think Bos Landen is …”
A good course if you think you’re better than you really are. You have to leave your ego at home before playing Bos. You’ve gotta learn to be disciplined and play smart, but ultimately it will make you better player.

Greatest golfer ever
It’s really hard to go against Tiger. He has been the most dominant player during a time where technology has evened the playing field more than ever. He may not break Jack Nicklaus’s major record, but he should still go down as the greatest ever.

What most people don’t know about Coach Green
He once spent some time working at a golf course just outside of Bangkok, Thailand.

Favorite yoga position
Whenever Jillian Michaels is in the King’s Pigeon Pose

What you like best about spring break
No classes for a week and playing golf in nice weather every day with some of my best friends.

Best course you’ve ever played
The Raven Golf Club in Destin, Florida

Bucket list
