Mike Boschee
Head coach
Mike Boschee is in his fifth season as head men's basketball coach at Central.
A graduate of the University of North Dakota and a Valley City, N.D. native, Boschee was an all-North Central Conference and all-region player. He served as captain of the 1990 North Dakota squad that finished third in the NCAA Div. II national tournament. Boschee earned his master's degree from Northern State University (N.D.) and served as a graduate assistant coach for a team that reached the NAIA national championship game.
From 1993-2003, Boschee was an assistant at Gustavus Adolphus 
College (Minn.), serving as defensive coordinator. The Gusties posted a 221-83 record in that span, and made seven NCAA Division III playoff appearances.
A highly regarded clinician, Boschee has been featured at numerous camps and clinics. Central has posted a 35-66 record in his first four seasons of rebuilding the Dutch program.

Joe Steinkamp
Assistant coach
Joe Steinkamp is in his third season on the Dutch staff and his first year as the top varsity assistant. A 2003 Central graduate, he was a two-time letterwinner and the team co-captain in 2002-03. He spent the 2003-04 year as a graduate assistant women's basketball coach at Loras College while pursuing a master's degree. He was Central's men's junior varsity coach in 2004-05 and a volunteer assistant at Lewis University ( Ill. ) in 2005-06 before returning to Central as JV coach for 2006-07.

Chris Pierson
Assistant coach
Chris Pierson is in his first season as assistant men’s basketball coach at Central, working with the junior varsity.
An honors graduate from William Penn University, Pierson received NAIA all-academic honors as a golfer for the Statesmen and was a junior golf instructor in Oskaloosa. He spent a year as co-head coach of the William Penn men’s junior varsity basketball squad.
