Central College Student Athlete Advisory Council

Mission of Central College SAAC
The Central College Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) is comprised of two student-athletes from each sport, along with two student representatives from athletic training and two cheerleaders. The director of athletics and senior women’s administrator are facilitators for the group which generally meets on a monthly basis. The purpose of the SAAC, which is mandated by the NCAA and the Iowa Conference, is to enhance the student-athlete experience on the Central College campus through open communication and discussion. In addition, the mission is to raise awareness of the SAAC on campus through service work and social activities. Supporting the principles of the NCAA Division III and the mission and beliefs of the college and the athletic department are important guidelines of the Student Athletic Advisory Council.
