Alumni Advisory Council

The alumni advisory council is comprised of 15 alumni from different graduation years and cities across the country. The council provides help, advice and support to the alumni office. The council also “brainstorms” ways to encourage and provide continued relationships with the college and other alumni. Members are involved throughout the year in specific areas listed below:

Annual meeting

The Alumni Advisory Council (AAC) held its eighth annual meeting on campus March 27-28. Our campus focus through Spring 2011 includes intercultural life and sustainability. The next AAC meeting is Thursday-Saturday, May 13-15, 2010.

Ways to stay connected?

Trent ’90 and Kris Brandt Vaughn ’90, AAC chair, and children Grant and Grace, pose with Harry Smith ’73 at The Early Show in New York City.

Join over 5,442 alums by signing up for our alumni community. This is a great tool to keep Central updated on you and to reconnect with an old friend or classmate.

Attend alumni events in your area and return to campus for Homecoming. Let the alumni office know if you have an “informal” reunion with friends.

Bookmark www.central.edu and check weekly for updated information.

Kris VaughnRegister for Central Connections and benefit from the experience of other alumni and their career experiences.

Contact the admission office with names of high school students to contact about what Central has to offer.

Homecoming/Family Weekend is Oct. 8–10 and I hope you are planning to attend. You can register online! Call your friends to make plans, book your hotel and register now.

Let me know if you have feedback or suggestions for the AAC to discuss that would enhance your experience as a proud, Central College alum.
