Apply

Follow these steps to get your application in for consideration:

  1. Fill out our on-line application or send your paper application to us at the address below. You may also choose to print and mail a paper application.

  2. Request that your official high school transcript (and any college transcripts) be sent to us. Transcripts should include your cumulative g.p.a. and class rank.

  3. Send us your test scores. Take the ACT or SAT-I and have your results sent to Central College, either directly from the testing agency or on your official high school transcript. Central codes are: ACT 1284 or SAT-I 6087.

  4. Send your $25 application fee along with your paper application.

Note - we will waive the application fee if:
    • You apply on-line
    • Your parents are alumns or if a graduate from Central signs your application
    • You bring your application with you during a personal campus visit
    • You apply before January 15 (for fall admission)

Send your paper application, transcripts, test scores, and application fee (if you don’t meet any waiver criteria above) to:

    Office of Admission
    Central College
    812 University Street

  5. After you've been accepted to Central, fill your health and housing forms and find out how to transfer your advance placement and CLEP credit or community college coursework.
