How long will it take?

You should plan on a two-business day processing time for all transcript requests. Assuming that you do not have outstanding financial obligations at Central College, we often process transcripts in less time, but we cannot make any guarantees. Please plan ahead in order to meet your deadlines.

Additional notes for your reference:

In compliance with federal law as established by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 as Amended, transcripts cannot be issued without your written consent as demonstrated by an original signature approving the release of the transcript. Computer-generated signatures are not acceptable and e-mail requests for transcripts will not be honored.

Transcripts may be picked up in person, or can be mailed. Transcripts are not normally faxed due to the poor quality that results from faxing a transcript printed on security paper. Most colleges/universities, and many employers, do not consider a faxed copy of a transcript to be official anyway. For urgent transcript requests, please consider overnight or priority mail service instead.

We can process your transcript request only upon receipt of payment of the transcript fee via check, cash, money order or credit card. Also, we are unable to issue transcripts if you have outstanding financial obligations at Central College, as determined by the Controller's and Student Financial Planning offices.
