As I researched programs, I knew I wanted to challenge myself by taking actual classes in a German-speaking university, but I also recognized that I would need support from a program (and some intensive language preparation) to reach that goal. Central College Abroad was exactly what I was looking for.
Open to faculty of all disciplines, the workshop is designed to build capacity to support broad global learning goals at participants’ home institutions by using locations in the Yucatan as a lens through which to explore a range of global issues
Dr. Greg Cunningham, associate professor of biology at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y., will offer science courses while in Merida.
Imagine setting up your first exposition of personal photography just six months after graduating from college. Now, imagine setting it up in your second language.
Central is proud to invite partner institutions to join us for a Global Experiential Development Workshop January 2-9, 2014 in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.
Central continues to work hard at providing students who study abroad truly unique opportunities.
