Information for
The opportunity to go on a number of excursions in the Yucatan enabled me to experience the history and culture in ways that a textbook is unable to provide. Not only does it make learning more exciting, but also more genuine.

Recent excursions: Historical and cultural sites in the Yucatan including a 5-day trip to the state of Chiapas and visits to Chichen Itza and surrounding colonial villages.
Housing and meals: Live with other Central College Abroad students in Central’s house (a restored governor’s mansion) or choose a homestay option with a Mexican family. Most meals are provided.
Program dates: Fall semester, late August – early-December. Spring semester, late-January – early May.
