The program offers two housing options. Students may live in the Central College house where their cross-cultural growth is aided by our Yucatecan staff and professors. Located in a residential area of Mérida, the house is a restored mansion which was the private residence of a former governor. Students will be housed with up to four students to a room. In addition, the spacious residence offers living and dining areas, a reference library and classroom space. All meals Monday through Friday are included in the program fee and are served in the college residence. A light brunch will be served on Saturday. Students have access to kitchen facilities on Saturdays and Sundays.
Homestays
For students interested in a homestay, host families are available each semester. Boarding with families provides an invaluable element to the student's linguistic and cultural immersion in Merida. Meals are provided by the host family.
