Orientation/Excursions

The orientation program includes discussions, speakers, a travel seminar, tours of London, a theatre trip, a visit to London Metropolitan University, academic advising and course registration. At the end of the second week there is a weekend trip out of London.

Cultural Activities and Excursions
Cultural activities and excursions are an integral part of the program. Throughout the semester/year the program director arranges for students to see a variety of sites and events. Tickets and entrance fees for these activities are covered by the program. Examples include visits to places such as Greenwich, the Imperial War Museum, the Bank of England, and the Globe Theatre.
Some excursions outside of London are covered in the program fee and have included:

  • Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of Shakespeare and home of the Royal Shakespeare Company
  • the beautiful city of Bath where gracious buildings of the 18th century were built over the ruins of the Roman baths
