My internship has widened my area of expertise. I have seen how the British culture views the US, learned a completely different style of humor, and had fun learning about finance.
Students live in Woburn Place, a residence hall located in Bloomsbury, the heart of London’s academic district. You'll be just a short distance from the west end theatre district, eclectic Camden Town as well as some of London's best museums. As a center for student life in London, you'll find many restaurants, pubs and clubs just minutes from your residence. Students need not go far to experience some of London’s best green space, with several public squares around each corner.
The area is well served by public transport, with Russell Square, Euston, King’s Cross, St. Pancras and Goodge Street tube stations a short walk away, and many bus routes nearby.

Take advantage of shopping for food at the nearby outdoor markets where you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, meat and fish, as well as traditional British treats. There are several supermarkets and markets within easy walking distance
. The Central College Abroad Center
The Central College Abroad center in London is located on vibrant Store Street in Bloomsbury. This office space is conveniently located just minutes from the residence hall and will serve as a gathering spot for Central College Abroad students including library space, a small seminar room where Central College Abroad classes are taught, and a lounge. The director and assistant director's offices are also housed here.
