Pick between CCA 's own courses (taught by local expert faculty), Leiden University courses, or Webster University courses. Each of CCA 's international sites has an on-site program director, who is there to advise students during the academic experience, to orient them to the host city, to lead excursions, among many other things. All CCA directors also teach a hands-on seminar, where students learn about the host city and then experience it firsthand. Leiden's on-site director, Steef Eman, has been the director in Leiden since 1998. Steef's office is located within the CCA center, in the heart of the city.
Find yourself strolling down cobblestone streets lined with buildings dating back to the 17th century on the way to your residence. Live in a singe room near other CCA and international students in a renovated historic building on Hugo de Grootstraat. You'll be within minutes of walking to the CCA center and both Webster and Leiden Universities. Or opt for an apartment located near university athletic facilities just a short bike ride away from class.
The CCA center in Leiden is centrally located on the Rapenburg street. This location is within walking distance of the residence hall, and both Leiden and Webster Universities, where you may take classes. This popular gathering spot for CCA students includes a seminar room (where CCA classes are taught), a computer lab and lounge. The director's office is also housed here.
