Academic Program
(taught in English and Chinese)
All coursework is taught by Zhejiang University faculty, the faculty of the International College of Zhejiang University, and Central College faculty. Students are required to enroll in at least ten credits of Chinese language and culture and the 1 credit China Seminar. All students are strongly encouraged to enroll in the ESL internship course. Courses are offered at a variety of language levels to accommodate students with or without previous Chinese language skills. Those interested in independent study or audit in a particular field are strongly encouraged to notify their study abroad advisor of their interest upon application.
Students enroll in 12-24 semester hours. Classes are held Monday through Friday. After the May holiday, one or two classes may be scheduled on a Saturday.

However, the course list should not be regarded as a contractual agreement with the student. Course schedules are not finalized until students register in Hangzhou after consultation with the program director.
