I enjoyed the service-learning experience in the sense that I was immersed in the spanish culture and was forced to speak solely in spanish and with people from the Granada community. I believe that it has made me more confident in my speaking and translating skills.

Recent excursions: Historical and cultural sites around Granada, such as the Alhambra that overlooks the city, and the nearby cities of Seville and Córdoba. A three-day trip to Madrid, and a four-day excursion to Morocco in northern Africa.

Housing and meals: All students live with host families, located within walking distance of campus. All meals provided.

Program dates: Fall semester, mid-September — mid-December. Spring semester, mid-January — mid-May.
