| This literature course provides an introduction to the literary developoment of these periods along with the background of philosophy of the era and to authors associated with enlightenment, German Classicsism and Romanticism. Works by authors including Lessing, Goethe, Schiller, Tieck, Eichendorff, E.T.A. Hoffmann, Grillparzer and Kleist will be partly read and discussed, thus covering the principal works of the 18th and early 19th century. | |
