| This course’s aim is to offer a London-focused history of art experience to both specialist and non-specialist students. The class will be mainly gallery-based, taking advantage of London’s wealth and diversity of galleries and museums. Students will encounter the major influences on Western art since classical times, including their historical, political, and social context. (There may be a small lab fee for special exhibitions if these arise in the course of the semester.) | |
