Students may enroll in a wide variety of semester courses following the orientation period. All students are required to take Over Here - An Introduction to Wales and Welsh Culture, a three-credit course designed to assist students in their understanding of Wales. The remainder of the schedule can be completed with courses selected from the University of Wales, Bangor. Students staying for the full year will take the Over Here course their first semester.
Course Load
Students are enrolled in 12-17 semester hours. Most courses are three semester hours. Students wishing to take more than 17 semester hours may do so only with prior approval from the program director. Full-time student status is maintained by a minimum enrollment of 12 semester hours.
