Information for
I have never felt so alive as I did when I was in Merida. Seeing the ruins, excursions to the Caribbean and just hanging out in the city were some of the best experiences I have ever had. I will never forget the time I spent in Mexico. Every day when I look at my pictures hanging on my wall, I know that the experiences and knowledge I gained will be with me forever.

Advanced language students have a very unique immersion opportunity with the ability to enroll in up to two courses alongside Yucatecan students at local universities. Choose from Marista University, Modelo University and/or Autonomous University of the Yucatan (UADY). Course work is available in the following areas:

Autonomous University of the Yucatan (fall only)
Autonomous University of the Yucatan (UADY) offers 40 degrees within the main university and is the largest of Central’s affiliates with an enrollment of approximately 20,000 students. Coursework in anthropology and archeology are appealing options because of Merida’s location among some of the most important archaeological sites of the ancient Mayan civilizations.
